The cox mixer valve is a thermostatic model and feeds water to the connected 2-way diverter valve. Simply turn the diverter vale to direct the water to the chosen outlet. Being a 2-way diverter valve, up to two separate water outlets can be used such as an overhead rain shower and a wall mounted hand shower.
