The 28D rowlock socket is crafted from solid brass and features a sleek chrome-plated finish. Produced in Italy by Foresti & Suardi, this socket is designed for durability and style. With an internal diameter of 14mm, it is compatible with a selection of our 14mm rowlocks.

Installation is straightforward; the socket is secured in position by tightening a nut on the underside, effectively clamping it to the deck. Please note that access to the underside is required for both installation and maintenance, ensuring a secure fit for your rowing accessories.

This product is pressure die cast by Foresti & Suardi in Italy and is available in natural unlacquered brass or chrome plated brass. Foresti & Suardi have been manufacturing pressure die cast brass marine hardware since 1961. Fittings such as this are amongst the core products manufactured since those early days. The tooling may have been updated, and technology has moved on a great deal, but these are the heritage pieces that established the reputation of Foresti & Suardi, as well as Timage, in the global yacht accessories market.

Our Heritage Collection features fittings that have been in our catalogue of hardware since the beginning of our brand back in 1978. The parts are typically pressure die cast brass and can be supplied in a polished, unlacquered finish or with a chrome plating. These parts are iconic pieces of 'deck jewellery', made famous by the 1960's and 70's timber craft and commonly used on modern interpretations of such boats.
