A Removable Ø20mm Carbon Fibre Awning Pole For Compact Sun Shades - 10° Angle

This removable awning pole is constructed from marine-grade (A4) 316 stainless steel and carbon fibre. The carbon is finished in a matt lacquer. This pole is designed to be used in conjunction with the 1800.20 and the 1805.20 base sockets. This particular version has a 10° angled base allowing the pole to be inserted into a straight base socket and lean 10° in the desired direction. This is usually an advantage on smaller craft where as large a shaded area as possible is required, but the installation width available is limited.

Typically, a pole such as this is used in pairs or fours to support a sun shade. The awning fabric can be simply connected to the pole via the simple eyelet piece which can be sewn into the shade and easily fastened to the pole once it has been installed in its socket. The carbon pole is of smaller diameter than others in our range to reduce cost and weight. It is designed to flex under load which also helps provide a tautness to the awning fabric.
