This simple cup aids the installation of the Pyxis Small LED courtesy lights.  The LED courtesy lights are designed to be installed in a pressure fixing method.  In essence, the cut-out hole for the installation of the luminiare must be accurately made so that the fitting pushes into the recess and is held in place thanks to the pair of O'rings that feature in the body of the product.  This installation cup can be bonded in place or, in the case of installation into GRP, can be set into the fiberglass during manufacture.  With the use of the installation cup, the water tightness of the installation can be guaranteed.  Future maintenance is also much quicker as the luminaire can be simply and easily pulled out of the cup and pushed back in place.
