This Foresti & Suardi push button mechanism is compatible with our complete range of knobs & ferrules except the mini models which are supplied complete with their own small mechanism. The mechanism is secured to the rear of the door panel, the threaded male spindle passing through the appropriate through hole in the panel. The mechanism is fixed with 2x 3.5mm (No.6) panhead screws which can be purchase separately from the related product section below.

This slam action mechanism features a pair of latching tongues which engage in the striker plate when the cupboard door is pushed closed. This means that the lock needn't be actioned every time just to keep the door panel closed, only when the doors need to be secured. These tongues also provide a neat ant-vibration feature when compared to the standard latch without them.

The mechanism is offered in a number of different finishes to suit a broad range of interior styles.
