Spring-Loaded Hatch Locking Device For Padlocks

Stainless steel spring loaded hatch locking device.

This securing device is designed for use with a padlock of diameters up to 6mm. The stainless steel latch is a great way of adding extra security to important lockers and storage containers.

The system makes use of the main latch body and a seperate stainless steel striker/escutcheon plate. The 2mm thick plate is secured to the front face of the closing outer lid using 2x 3.5mm screws (No.6) which can be purchase separately. Thhe main latch body is secured in place with a nut. When the latch is pressed, the pin passes through the lid and recesses into the latch body, allowing the lid to be opened.

The two nuts on the main threaded body of the latch can be positioned to allow for the lid and frame thicknesses.
