Tritone TG Spotlight
The Tritone spotlight range builds on the excellent foundations laid by the Plutone and Mercurio range and the contains some of our most advanced LED technology. The Tritone TG is the largest in the Tritone family and features a 5 watt LED module. The Nichia™ LED chip produces a very high quality LED output with an average colour rendering index of 95. The spotlight is waterproof from both the front and rear and is available in various lens angles and colour temperatures. Tritone is made from anodised aluminium with a black finish as standard, other colours are available on request. The Tritone TG is also available with a honecomb antiglare diffuser which must be specified at the time of ordering.

This fitting can be specified with either springs or an installation cup. The installation cup is a marine solution, designed to be incorporated into the fibreglass or other structure during the yacht build. The light then is then simply pushed into the cup, being held in place by interference. In this installation method, the fitting has no springs but a gasket instead to aid a good press fit.

The Tritone TG downlight is available with two optional extras: an installation cup and a honecomb diffuser.
Diffuser
The honeycomb diffuser provides additional anti-glare properties, as well as controlling the pattern of light output, restricting its spread onto unwanted areas. This allows the fittings to be more accurate in their output, lighting the subject in a more defined manner and avoiding spill into its surroundings. This must be specified at the time of order and cannot be added later.
Installation Cup
The installation cup is a great way to facilitate installation into surfaces where spring fixings will not work. Scenarios include surfaces that are too thick to allow the springs to fold against the B-side of the surface as well as installation into mouldings. The cup can be incorporated into the installation surface at an earlier time in the project with the light being fitted last to reduce accidental damage.
Heat Dissipation
Heat dissipation is key to the performance and longevity of LED lighting. Our Power LED modules have been carefully designed to ensure that the heat is taken away from the LED chips and dissipated through the incorporated heat sink designed into the product housing.
Circuit board temperatures are closely monitored during the development phase of each product and appropriate heat dissipation can then be accurately calculated to ensure that product will continue to perform for many years
Power Regulator
The 10-30Vdc power regulator is always a remote item on the power cable of the fitting. This offers numerous advantages over alternative methods used by competitor brands. Keeping the power regulator separate reduces heat build-up on the LED circuit board and therefore increases performance and longevity of the LEDs.
Remote regulators can also be easily removed so that the product can be powered directly with the correct amperage, very useful for integration in some mains voltage applications.
Not All Cones Are Equal
A choice of lens angles is available for this product which means that the perfect output can be selected for any given project. Selecting either standard, medium or narrow lenses can have a large effect on the overall lighting effect.
