Retracting or 'letterbox' gangways are the cleanest solution in terms of not interfering with the vessel's hull lines. The unit is available in two or three stages and, in the latter configuration, is suitable for larger yachts. This particular model can also rotate as well as extend. This feature is particularly useful for those wishing to use the passerelle also as a crane for a tender. Please check the lifting capacity of the passerelle model when considering this use.
A Besenzoni gangway "invites" guests on board, illuminating the walkway through the use of courtesy LED lighting where required and adding safety and comfort with manual or automatic stanchions. The whole passerelle is housed in a cassette which integrates seamlessly within the yacht.
