LaScala is a new concept and an excellent alternative to traditional hydraulic automatic bathing ladders, featuring an all-electric design with self-levelling steps.

his innovative system offers several advantages over hydraulic units. It is environmentally friendly, eliminating the need for hydraulic oil and significantly reducing the use of polluting materials such as plastic and rubber. LaScala is also lightweight; not only is the gangway unit itself lighter than its hydraulic counterpart, but the absence of a power pack and associated hoses saves approximately 30 kg.

Additionally, the removal of the power pack results in lower energy consumption, while LaScala’s electronic control system is optimised to use less current than standard gangways. Its quiet operation ensures minimal noise without the usual hum or reverberation associated with power packs.

Finally, LaScala's plug-and-play design allows for quicker and easier installation compared to hydraulic ladders.

Choosing LaScala means that there is no hydraulic power pack and therefore there is no oil system present. Furthermore, the use of potentially polluting materials such as plastic or rubber, especially with regards to pipework.
