Retracting or 'letterbox' gangways are the cleanest solution in terms of not interfering with the vessel's hull lines. The unit is available in two or three stages and, in the latter configuration, is suitable for larger yachts.
A Besenzoni gangway "invites" guests on board, illuminating the walkway through the use of courtesy LED lighting where required and adding safety and comfort with manual or automatic stanchions. The whole passerelle is housed in a cassette which integrates seamlessly within the yacht. Besenzoni Design Studio creates their range of yacht components in cooperation with shipyards and their design teams in order to find the best solutions based on the particular yacht requirements.
