Today I am interviewing the newest member of Team Timage, Blaize ‘Flames’ Owers. I will be asking her questions relating to work, as well as some random quickfire questions.
I deal with sales, so I process all the sales orders, deal with any sales queries and convert the website orders into sales orders. I also do the marketing, so anything you see on Instagram or any social platforms is usually what I have created. I also produce the Youtube videos featured on our website and newsletters.
I have been with Timage for around ten months now, but it feels like years – in the best of ways.
I would like to think photos, I do enjoy photography so I will go with that.
Maths! Unless it is counting money. Anything else, fractions – it is just not my forte.
I hate this kind of question because I cannot think of three words! Team spirit, I guess that is two words. Fun, it is a fun environment and great colleagues (another two-word answer!).
Spaghetti Bolognese, especially my Mum’s. You cannot beat it.
When I was a child, I used to want to be one of two things. I wanted to be a doctor, or an English professor at university. Two very different things.
It would be Audrey Hepburn. She lived such a glamourous life but also did so much good, went to so many places and met so many people. I would love to talk to her.
We have thought long and hard about this and it has changed every time. I think it has got to be our directors chairs, especially when a customer uses their own bespoke fabrics to create it.
I would like to think Julia Roberts, I do love Julia. I think it would be her.
I think my favourite holiday destination would probably have to be Milan, Italy, because we keep going back, or Lisbon, Portugal. I love it there.
We do have a laugh. Especially Louisa and I, we sing every day. From a job aspect I think it is seeing an order from start to finish. From the day the order comes in on the website or by email, to the point it gets sent to the customer and sometimes they will then contact me to say they are really happy with the product or they compliment the service. From a marketing aspect, I enjoy being creative and use that side of what I can do.
It has got to be Friends. I love it, and have watched it a million times.
Ooh….Flames or Hot Wheels.
(At this point Blaize and I are in hysterics at her name choices, but she explains the Hot Wheels choice is because of our fantastic range of steering wheels)
Or The Swan, something like that because it would glide. Flames or The Swan!
