Pedestal Materials

Anodised Aluminium
A large proportion of our fixed and manual pedestals are made from anodised aluminium. The anodising creates a hard, wear-resistant layer that protects the underlying aluminium.

Stainless Steel
We have a wide range of stainless-steel pedestals, made from 316-grade material and polished to a mirror finish. This not only looks beautiful but also ensures that the support will continue to perform and resist corrosion even in an outdoor marine environment.

Pedestal Types

Fixed
Fixed table pedestals are the simplest derivative of their form. These pedestals are not height adjustable and are simple, cost-effective solution.

Manual
These pedestals are a purely manual operation with no gas assistance with either a thumb turn wheel or lever. This makes the pedestals and perfect for use with lightweight tabletops.

Manual Gas Assisted
A manually adjustable table pedestal is great for those seeking to maximise the functionality of any interior or exterior social space. An adjustable table pedestal allows for the instant conversion of a dining table into a coffee table or even a sleeping area by allowing the user to select the desired height of the table surface and locking it in the chosen position. These models all feature gas assistance to make the raising and lowering of the table safer and easier, an essential aid for heavier tables. We have a range of two and three stage pedestals as well as double pedestals.

Electric
Like a gas assisted pedestal, electric pedestals have been key to maximising space on board yachts for many years and can offer the same advantages to non-marine projects too. An electric table pedestal facilitates the raising and lowering of a table at the touch of a button, making the arduous task of adjusting a table position a pleasure. We have a range of two and three stage pedestals as well twin pedestals. All can be installed in synchronised pairs for larger tables.

Pedestal Accessories

Are you placing a folding tabletop on your pedestal? We supply single and twin table leaf supports that provide added stability. Both supports fix to the underside of the table and have a telescopic action.
